Anyone can contact us free of charge in the event of a missing person. This can be done by the police or directly by the family of the missing person.
Our mission is clear: the dog rescue and recovery team SRR Dogs is determined to find and rescue missing people, and where rescue is no longer possible, to return the victims to their families.
With our trained dogs and experienced handlers, we search with dedication, regardless of the circumstances. We strive for hope and reunification, and are committed to giving families the answers they desire.
When can we provide help:
Our dogs are trained to find people in forests, heathland, dunes, rubble and along the waterfront. Depending on the dog's training, this may involve living or dead people.
How do we help:
If there is a missing person, we will determine the search area in consultation with the police, government agencies and family. This search area is divided into smaller parts into which we send a dog team (dog, handler and buddy).
If the missing person is not found here, we will release this area and move on to the next area. This is how the possible locations are worked out.
If the first search area does not yield any results, new areas will be determined in consultation and they will proceed in the same way.
If we assist in the event of a missing person, we will continue until the missing person has been found or until there is no longer a scenario that can be further addressed by us as a dog team.
If you have any questions about our working methods and whether we can help, please feel free to contact us.
