Functions
General:
We train every weekend on Saturday and 1 evening a week. Most training will take place in North Brabant.
Dog handler:
Do you want to work as a dog handler in a team that actively searches for missing people at home and abroad?
Then we might be looking for you!
If you meet the following criteria, please contact us:
- over 21 years of age in possession of a dog suitable for search and rescue under the age of 2 years (or planning to purchase one) willing to train your dog according to our standards sufficient free time to train weekly in possession of your own transport willing to take courses (First aid, first responder, navigation, etc.) Not afraid to train in all weather conditions team player
SRR DOGS consists only of volunteers who, based on the same passion, try to help people in need (missing) and their loved ones. We have no paid positions and/or compensation.

Buddy:
A buddy helps the dog handler during a search with navigation and communication so that the dog handler can keep full focus on the dog.

Training "victim"
There is no good dog rescue team without good training of victims. As a victim, you are willing to hide from the dogs during training. Depending on the type of training, this can be in the forest, under rubble, in buildings or just somewhere in the city. So something for everyone.
